Italian basil, with its broad leaves, fragrant and tasty, is a basic ingredient in world cuisine: in addition to being used in various ways, from pesto to spaghetti to pizza, it is also an excellent insect repellent.

To grow basil you can use EVA H or EVA S; to obtain microgreens or plants that are always ready for consumption we recommend using water with mineral fertilizer. Sow a whole sachet to obtain microgreens or half if you want aromatic plants to always have ready in the kitchen and that can last for many months.
Basil germinates in about 4 days and the blackout period it requires lasts about 5 days. If grown with care it can last for many months. It can be pruned as needed, then it will grow back. Basil has about 600 seeds per gram.
