The origin of sprouts

The word germogliare derives from Latin GERMINATE what the beginning of development means and a seed contains within itself, even if in a dormant form, all the properties of the mature plant. The contact between the seed and a natural element par excellence, that is water, causes the seed's metabolism to reactivate in the process of germination (beginning of development).

First sprout development

Sprouts are the seeds that within a few days of sowing are "reactivated" thanks to contact with water and appropriate oxygenation and temperature conditions.

What sprouts really are

SPROUTS are the plants in their growth phase: they contain all the nutrients of their fully grown respective plants but in quantities 10/15% higher because they are extremely concentrated. So, even though they appear very fragile and slender, sprouts are actually one of the foods with the highest content of nutrients found in nature; they are seeds awakened from their rest with pronounced nutritional properties and fresh, surprising flavors. What makes them so special is that they provide us with the nourishment of the entire plant, which is particularly interesting and important from a nutritional standpoint. In sprouts, all the energy of life is expressed: just take a slender sprout and taste it to discover the fresh and intense flavor that immediately connects us with nature. Sprouts are a living and concentrated source of substances beneficial to our body.
