Product Description
To be used sparingly, watercress is ideal in sandwiches, soups or pasta, in salads, grilled vegetables or with meat. It helps the health of the eye and is also good for the teeth. Contains vitamins A, C, K and isothiocyanates.
It is possible to produce sprouts or microgreens.
The watercress seed is mucilaginous so it is complex and difficult to obtain sprouts with the traditional system.
We recommend always using EVA H but with the same method as for microgreens. To obtain microgreens use 1/2 teaspoon, about 2 gr, no soaking, germination occurs in 2-3 days, the blackout lasts 3-4 days and the harvest will be ready after about 8-12 days.
It can be grown with water only using EVA H or with coconut fibre using EVA S. Seeds per gram are approximately 400.
